Have you ever Gxxgled your own name? If not try it. Type your name inside parentheses like this "John Doe". If your unlucky enough to actually have the name John Doe there should be about  3,480,000 results for "John Doe" and the likelihood of you finding any true reference to yourself is null. 1) Try not to post your full or real name when submitting anything online. Social sites like Myspace^tm and Facebook^tm are good examples of easy places to mine data about you. This is common practice, even for a potential employer. So stop the relevant input (Your name).

2) If you find listings that are unfavorable; write the web post and kindly explain why you request it's removal. Most pages will mask or remove data upon request. Try not to threaten those people because that will hinder further communication. Gxxgle provides a removal tool also.

3) If that fails- BURY the old news down so deep in the results that no one would even bother. Most people only look at the top ten results and rarely venture pages to search. If tons of social substance were added to "Your" search then you would provide that for those top returns.
